Being able to do this directly from a failed task (using the container that that task was using) would be super helpful

Leverage Studios capabilities to launch container instances for failed jobs, streamlining debugging within Seqera Platform in reproducible execution environments.
Users can seamlessly debug a failed task interactively within the exact execution environment from the Nextflow workflow.

I'm most interested in launching an interactive environment from a failed child task using the task's container with the input data for that task available for debugging purposes.
For debugging purposes, I don't think that launching at the Run level helps as much b/c what you'll likely need is access to intermediate files produced at some point in the run.

Neon carrot Goldfish Thanks for your feature request. We are currently implementing a "Launch Data Studio" from the Pipeline Run details page at the parent Run-level (which includes the same image with the input data copied into the environment), however this isn't at the child Task-level. Does having this functionality at the Run-level satisfy your request?

Pipeline task debugging via Web Console

The forthcoming release of Data Studios introduces technology that facilitates the activation of a web console for efficient Pipeline task debugging. When a user launches this web console, it precisely replicates the software and hardware conditions utilized by the pipeline for executing the task. Additionally, it provides an option to adjust the CPU and memory allocation for the process.
